 Drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles via the stunning Pacific Coast Highway. There is plenty of time to experience San Francisco, the "City by the Bay." Visit Fisherman's Wharf-enjoy the local fare and stop by Pier 39's many shops and restaurants. Take a cruise on San Francisco Bay with magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge, or visit infamous Alcatraz Island. Then, drive down the beautiful California coast. Head south on Highway 1 to Monterey. Don't miss stunning 17-Mile Drive, offering spectacular views of the rugged California coast, including Point Joe, Fanshell Beach, and the famous Lone Cypress. Continue south to San Simeon. Here you can choose to visit the magnificent Hearst Castle and view an IMAX film that chronicles the history of the castle. Continue on to Solvang, where Denmark has been recreated with charming buildings and windmills. Take a short drive to Santa Barbara. Here you can visit the famous Santa Barbara Mission and Stearns Wharf. Final stop is glamorous Los Angeles. Drive through Hollywood and Beverly Hills. See Mann's Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Continue your stay in Los Angeles. Visit Universal Studios, the world's largest movie studio and theme park, or see the seaside town of Santa Monica. Then drive south to San Diego. Visit Balboa Park, home of the San Diego Zoo, or visit the San Diego Wild Animal Park. You may also want to consider a visit to SeaWorld to see Shamu or ride on the Journey to Atlantis!
