This Active Adventure follows the coast of Baffin Island, and explores deep fjords, nature reserves, and remote villages that can only be reached by ship or air. The shallow draft of the Adventure Ship makes it possible to explore bays and transit channels that larger ships cannot. En route from Resolute to Iqaluit, an optional adventure will be offered - kayaking.

The final price will appear on your invoice at time of booking.Shipboard Accommodation: The Akademik Ioffe was Scandinavian built for the Russian Academy of Science and designed to travel quietly, during hydro-acoustic research. The ship is exceptionally stable, yet maneuverable. External stabilizers and a built-in trimming system provide exceptional stability. Akademik Ioffe has an ice-strengthened hull and a cruising speed in open water of 14.5 knots.
