This market is held only twice a week and deserves its fame. You will also see the 400 year old church of Santo Tomas, where your tour guide will be able to explain why the Mayan Quiche natives observe unique religious customs and spiritual beliefs. After lunch depart for Guatemala City via Lake Atitlan with beautiful views of its 3 volcanoes in the background -San Pedro, Toliman and Atitlan -. Brief stop at the lake-side village of Panajachel.
