When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
- Important Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Express operates between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events (Road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
- No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.
- Why not upgrade to a Hotelink transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London hotel? (Please ask your travel agent of the additional upgrade price per person when booking)
- European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus Passengers who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
- Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(S) from Trafalgar. Please ask for prices of transfers at the time of booking your extra night accommodation
- Land only passengers arriving or departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days but whose flights don't coincide with the listed transfer times below may also book and purchase these transfers. Then on by coach through Belgium and across Flanders fields crossing over the Dutch border near Breda on our approach to lively Amsterdam. A short orientation on arrival shows us Dam Square and the Tower of Tears. This evening you may wish to visit the Sailor's Quarter. (Continental Breakfast/ Dinner)Hotel: Ibis Schiphol | | Day 5 | Berlin | This morning we cross the great rivers of Dutch history to the German border. Next into lower Saxony via Osnabruck and Hanover as we drive along the route once known as the 'Berlin Corridor' to our Berlin hotel. Berlin's nightlife is famous… you may wish to sample some of it for yourself this evening. (Buffet Breakfast)Hotel: Park Plaza Prenzlauerberg (2 nights) | | Day 6 | Berlin | Today's sightseeing includes this fascinating city's main points of interest including the Brandenberg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard and points out the area which was the Berlin Wall. Later, why not take the option to visit nearby Potsdam or the Pergamon on the Museum Island? (Buffet Breakfast) | | Day 7 | Prague | We drive through the Spreewald Forest to 'Florence on the Elbe' Dresden. Here an orientation shows us the Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera and 18th century Cathedral. On through Swiss Saxony to the Czech frontier and ancient Prague. Tonight, why not enjoy an introduction to Prague with a trip through the old city?(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)Hotel: Ibis Old Town (2 nights) | | Day 8 | Prague | Our morning sightseeing features Hradçany Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and the Old Town Square. Later, with time on your own, why not visit a royal castle outside the city or enjoy a lunch cruise on the Vlatva River Smetana's 'Moldau'? Alternatively you may wish to spend some time shopping for Bohemian crystal. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner) | | Day 9 | Budapest | Today's journey takes us via Brno, one-time headquarters of Napoleon, to the palace of Lednice where we visit the gardens. From here we head into Austria and along the Danube Valley through a beautiful fruit growing area of Hungary to Budapest where we spend the next two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)Hotel: Holiday Inn (2 nights) | | Day 10 | Budapest | The main sights of Buda and Pest are featured on our sightseeing tour. We see the Fishermen's Bastion, Gellert Hill, Heroes' Square, Church of St. Matthias and the Royal Palace. Later, there is leisure time to perhaps take an excursion to Szentendre, and shop for embroidery and pottery. You could also visit the impressive Parliament buildings. After dark, why not take a cruise on the Danube to admire the illuminated bridges and monuments of this attractive city? (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner) | | Day 11 | Vienna | This morning after breakfast our first stop is at the historically rich town of Györ. Then we cross over the border at Hegyeshalom for the short journey into Austria and soon arrive in our Viennese hotel for two nights. This evening why not soak up the culture of this elegant city by taking in a concert of classical music? (Buffet Breakfast)Hotel: Kavalier (2 nights) | | Day 12 | Vienna | Our sightseeing tour includes a drive along the Imperial Boulevards with views of the Opera, the Parliament, Hofburg and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Next there's time to perhaps shop in elegant Kärntnerstrasse, take a trip to Schönbrunn Palace or sample some Sachertorte for which Vienna is so famous! And don't forget the Prater Park with its big wheel as featured in the film 'The Third Man'! (Buffet Breakfast) | | Day 13 | Munich | After breakfast we enjoy a scenic day as we travel along the Danube Valley and through the beautiful Salzkammergut to Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace. Here an orientation tour shows us the Mirabell Palace, formely the home of one of the Prince Bishops and perhaps familiar as it was used in the film 'The Sound of Music'. We'll also enjoy views of the castle-fortress plus it's but a short journey to fun-loving Munich for the night. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Holiday Inn South | | Day 14 | Rhineland | Orientation in Munich includes views of the Marienplatz, the town hall with its 'Glockenspiel' clock and the Olympic Complex. Next we travel on the 'Romantic Road' to medieval Rothenburg. On arrival we see the fortified walls which surround the town, then time to shop for hand made Christmas decorations. Finally, we continue on to our Rhineland hotel.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Ramada Micador | | Day 15 | Brussels | We start the day with a relaxing cruise along the Rhine River with views of medieval castles and terraced vineyards as well as the mighty Lorelei Rock before we disembark at Boppard. On through Koblenz to Cologne to see its Cathedral. Next we're off to Belgium at Aachen skirting around the Ardennes to its capital Brussels. Here an orientation shows us the Manneken Pis and Grand Place before perhaps relaxing over some 'moules frites' in a typical brasserie. (Buffet Breakfast)Hotel: Ibis Centre Ste Catherine | | Day 16 | London | This morning we drive through Flanders to France and the port of Calais where we board our ferry back to England.
