Why not shop for some crystal? -This town is world-renowned for it. | | Day 3 | Colle Val d'Elsa to Monteriggioni | Heavy ramparts form a full circle around Monteriggioni, harking back to its military past. A walk along the evocative ring of walls brings you back to a bygone era and afterwards, you can relax with a glass of Chianti. | | Days 4-5 | Monteriggioni to Siena | Make your way to the heart of Tuscany - Siena - a treasure trove of Romanesque and Gothic art and architecture. The magnificent Campo, site of the Palio bareback horse race in summer is the perfect place to end your journey.
