It is one of the few places on earth where the trees that produce frankincense grow, a substance which once was more valuable than gold. White sands stretch for miles here and high tides create spouting geysers in limestone rocks. Exotic bazaars filled with gold and silver glitter in the shadow of the imposing palace.
